Festival Place
Festival Place has selected IPG’s fmNet platform to help streamline service delivery, reduce costs and deliver optimum service levels across security, housekeeping and maintenance. The system has helped drive reduction in costs across the teams and has enabled management to manage performance more efficiently. The success of their security team has earned them the title of 2010 Security Team of the Year, as their 38-strong team works with the centre’s retailers and has achieved a £145k reduction in shrinkage at an anchor store and a 74% reduction at another high-turnover store.
Festival Place opened in October 2002. It is Hampshire’s regional shopping destination and offers over 160 shops as well as 33 restaurants, bars and cafés, a multi screen cinema, sports centre, library and night club. Ranked in the top 50 GB Shopping Centres (CACI) in 2007 for available consumer expenditure. The selection of top brands and quality retailers makes this centre a vibrant hub for shoppers. It is within easy access from the M3 and M4, with parking for 2,700 cars.
